Lots and Lots of Pictures

We have been extremely busy since my last post. We had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed spending time together as a family. I have been busy getting the house packed. We took a trip out to Utah to spend some time with family. It has been REALLY busy. I am sure we will have a few more busy weeks, and then I'm hoping it slows down for awhile.

I'll start with Easter weekend. I went on two Easter Egg Hunts with the kids. Sydney loved it. Tyler wasn't so sure, then he figured out there was candy in the eggs. He liked that part. Sydney liked being the big sister and helping him get more eggs. It was fun to see them interact and enjoy each other as siblings.

We also dyed Easter eggs. The kids really liked this. Tyler loved to break them and see all the little pieces. Syd liked to see all the different colors. It's so fun to see them experience all the holiday festivities!

































Easter morning we had a visit from the Easter Bunny. He was very kind. The kids got candy and one toy each. Sydney got a new princess songbook and Tyler got a toy guitar. They were both excited for their gifts and LOVED the candy. :)

After church we took some pictures and then went down to Salem to visit with family. The kids enjoyed another hunt downstairs and loved their Easter baskets for their Great-Grandparents and Grandparents.

For some reason I lost the post with the Utah pictures. I will try to post those tonight.

Happy Easter Weekend

Even though we have been in Oregon for going on 4 years, this is actually our first Easter in Oregon. I have definite mixed feelings about it - I'm glad that we are spending it with Ryan, but I am definitely missing my family and all their activities. There's the big Easter Egg Hunt at my Grandma Carols house and then the dyeing of the eggs and making of peanut butter eggs. All the fun things we have done every year since forever. I will definitely cry some tears this weekend. Miss you guys!!!!

Sydney had a good time at preschool this week. On Thursday she did an Easter Egg Hunt and made these cute little Easter baskets out of milk cartons. She had a great time and loved the candy she got in the eggs. We have 2 more "hunts" still to come. I am excited to see them get into all the festivities.

I had a baby shower at my house last night for a friend and have been trying to get things picked up and do some laundry, start to pack. The kids have been so good to play together I have been really appreciative of their angelic behavior. Then I walked into their room. Tyler's smile cracked me up. He looked at me like "what mess Mom?" Oh how I love my children!!!

SOLD

Well it has been a busy week for us. I have no pictures this week. On Monday we put our house on the market and on Wednesday we sold it. We have signed all the papers and have to be out by May 15th. It is sad leaving our first home, but looking forward to the next chapter ahead. Thanks for everyons prayers and thoughts this week.
